Sikkens Cetol Clearcoat LB plus

Description

Cetol Clearcoat LB plus is a colourless, satin gloss, low build preservative for protected east or south facing exterior timber. Contains binary light stabilizers (improved UV resistance), based on alkyd resin.

The wood grain remains visible.
Microporous, resulting in a humidity-controlling system.
Water repellent.
Abrasion resistant (not scratch proof).

Use: as a primer/basecoat for Cetol Clearcoat HB plus or as a standalone 3 coat system on protected, south or east facing timber structures.

As a maintenance system on intact – still sufficiently pigmented – Cetol HLSe coats.

Application: Stir well. Do not thin. Apply at 36 microns wet to clean, dry, sound substrate. Brush application recommended.

Please note: colourless coatings have a relatively short exterior life span, particularly in north or west facing situations, as they offer only limited UV protection.

Coverage:
Smooth planed timber: approx. 10m² per litre

Number of Coats:
3-4 coats when used as a full system.
1 coat when used as a primer.
